The interior remodel of this classic 1960’s condominium seemed to be a throwback to Mission Impossible. Demolition included taking half of a building floor down to a shell. From there, the logistical challenges included moving debris from and getting new materials to the 5th floor, all without disrupting the neighbors above, below and next door. Using the architect-owner’s design, the floor plan was completely modified, with all electrical, plumbing, windows and interior/exterior doors replaced before detailing the space with custom fabricated materials and imported finishes.
