The design-build of this 1800 sq. ft. the first floor remodels involved the movement of exterior structural walls to add square footage and a smarter flow in the previously awkward kitchen, laundry room and great room.

 

Dated materials were replaced with custom cherry kitchen cabinets and family room built-ins, a properly-scaled fireplace hearth was added, flooring was replaced with tile, new room and task lighting warmed the space, and a new stair rail was fabricated to complete the timeless and beautiful room.
